This non-profit start-up organization needed to establish it’s brand and an online presence. The Association wanted to build a platform of communication in order to promote awareness of issues important to its members. A Community Calendar, combined with a subscription email newsletter and blog were used to accomplish these goals.
Joe Dailey recently created a web site for my business partner and I and we could not be more pleased. Joe’s creative instincts, coupled with his extensive knowledge of computer graphics/desktop publishing, WordPress and web design fundamentals enabled him to create a website that is engaging and unique. He worked closely with my partner and I to ensure that our website reflects our own individual artistic styles, yet is still cohesive and functional. We would gladly employ his services again for any future web design project!Jenifer McGraw

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
I live in Pasadena, California. I’m happy to do onsite visits for anyone in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. If you don’t live local, it’s OK. Web and Graphic Design can be done remotely.
Can you update my current site?
Absolutely. If you have an older out of date site, you can greatly benefit from a refreshing new presentation of your brand online. I can duplicate and supplement the existing content onto the WordPress platform and give your brand a whole new life with added SEO benefits and usability improvements.
I used one of those Build it Yourself services. Can you take over?
Yes I can, but those services offer limited design and functionality, require a great deal of your time to set up and require expensive monthly contracts. They may not allow for your own custom domain name. If you have a small business or a non-profit organization, you have more important things to do with your time than to try to make such services work for you. Please contact me to discuss your individual situation.
If I hire you, how long will it take to complete?
Well, of course that depends on the complexity of your needs. However, if you fit my target market (small business and non-profit organizations), I can usually have a draft available for your review in less than 30 days after our agreement is finalized. After your approval of the first draft, additional edits and revisions will take place until you are satisfied with the results. Website launch can only be scheduled after usability, basic SEO and security testing are completed.
What are the terms of your standard contract?
I ask for 1/3 of the Design Fee at contract initiation, 1/3 at presentation of 1st draft, and the final 1/3 upon successful launch of the website. In addition, approved expenses (if any) such as premium plugins, onsite or stock photography and content development are due at time of invoice, net 30.
I enjoy elegant and functional design that provides exceptional value. As a small business owner and freelance designer, I understand the importance of getting the most out of every resource, and giving the most into every investment.
